We all know the sweetness basics of glowing skin:

I’ve assembled a couple of new beauty tips–mixed with the Old Faithful advice dispensed by our mothers and grandmothers– to maximise your skin’s potential and add a healthy glow.

1 Let your skin breathe after a full day of makeup.
Our mothers always warned us to get rid of our face paint before getting to bed. Cleanse your face thoroughly with soap and water, before hitting the sack.
Who knew that your skin starts to heal and repair itself between 9 and 11 p.m. In fact, the sleep hormone melatonin works to counteract daytime skin damage and repair it from aggressors like UV and pollution.
2 Exfoliate. Exfoliate. then Exfoliate some more.
Restoring the colourful glow of your youth, or adding a couple of new glowing skin tips to your beauty arsenal, is straightforward to integrate into your daily beauty routine.
Because freshly-cleaned skin reflects more light, slough off dry surface cells before bedtime to reveal the glowing skin hiding below. Or, try an at-home microdermabrasion kit to get rid of dead skin.
If you're on a beauty budget, a facial scrub found in your local drugstore will work even as well.
3 Get glowing skin from the within out.
Drink 6 to eight glasses of water daily. On your next doctor’s visit, invite a recommendation for any vitamins and supplements which will expose that natural glow hiding within.
Add a dose of exercise every other day to eliminate toxins, increase circulation and obtain skin glowing.
4 Use collagen to fight free-radical damage to the skin.
The sun provides exposure to free radicals that break down collagen within the skin.
To counteract damage apply gels and creams infused with collagen, peptides, and retinol to revive your skin’s healthy glow.
5 Moisturize religiously and wear sunscreen a day .
Find a moisturizer with a minimum of SPF 15 or higher and apply it liberally to your skin. You’re never too young to wear night cream, start slathering on your favorite skin cream to fight dry skin.
6 Fake the glow.
Use tinted moisturizer and bronzer to feature a healthy glow to your skin.
